How to Borrow a Team Member
- Open a RDP to the TM's home store.
- Click on Back Office.
- Click on Management.
- Then Login.
- Click on the Team Members tab.
- Locate the Team Member and Click on the TM to highlight him/her.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for the borrowing store
- Login.
- Click on Team Members Tab.
Click on the icon to add a new team member.
- Now using the information provided by the TM's Home store files you opened at the beginning start copying over the information. The first tab that opens is the contact info tab. Click on the Personal Info Tab and start there.
- Be sure to copy everything as it i appears on the home store with 1 exception. The first name should be entered as "First Name - Home Store Number". For Example If the TM name is John Domino and his home store is 5415 then in the first name field it should read "John-5415".Then click on the Contact Info Tab.
Then Fill in all the fields to match the home store once again with 1 exception. The Email address field should only have the @ symbol in it not the entire email address. Then click the save button
At this point a window will jump back to the Personal Info Tab and a window will pop up asking for a 4 digit team code. Simply use the same team member code from the home store if available. If it is not available simply add 1 to it. (Example if the home store code is 6631 but someone in the borrowing store already has that code then make it 6632.) Then press OK.
At this point the other tabs become available to choose. You will find yourself already on the Hiring Info tab. Once again copy the information directly from the Home store. The user ID should be the last 4 of the Social security number the password should be the first letter of the last name followed by the last 4 of the social security number. (For example John Domino last 4 are 6636 and his password would be d6636. If the TM's last 4 already exist in the borrowing store then again simply add 1 to it making it 6637). Once completed click on the License Info tab.
Click on the new license info button
Match the fields exactly to the home store information.
Click on the save button.
Complete the rest of the highlighted fields once again matching them to the TM's home store. Then click the Save Button.
This screen appears explaining that you must add a position for this team member. Click OK and proceed to the next screen.
Copy the TM's Pay and Position from the home store information and select NEW HIRE at the top.
All other information on this page will auto populate if required. Click the Save Button. Close the window.
That should return you to this screen where you will verify that the TM is added to the borrowing store and able to clock in. You will click on Daily.
Then click on Team Member Checkout.
Then locate the TM and Double Click His/Her name.
Be Sure that the clock in button is in color and not grayed out. If done properly it should look like this.
