How to Use the Master Make Line Settings
1. Go to Back Office then choose Master Settings.
2. Log in using your Pulse credentials.
3. Select the first box on the left side of the screen that says Makeline.
General Settings
1. When Makeline is selected choose General to open up the general settings that are used for all make lines in the store.
2. The first option available allows you to choose the layout of the orders as they appear on the make line. The option gives concise explanations of each choice you have. EX: The most common used option is the "Compact" option which allows more orders to appear on the screen and brings the whole item in one sentence on the screen.
3. The next options box allows the warning timer to be changed. The top choice changes the amount of time that the warning timer activates on the order. The second slider changes when the order age turns red and shows it being late. Lastly, the bottom option allows the system to show a "possible duplicate order" warning ( this should always say yes). These settings can only be changed by the GM.
4. The third option box allows the GM to limit the number of Priority orders jump to the top of the make line when they come through. This can be toggled on or off, and if on it allows you to reserve up to 5 positions for Priority orders.
5. The fourth available option lets you show the future timed orders below the "END OF LIVE ORDERS" separator and in the screen saver. If this is turned off you will not see future orders on the screen at all until they drop to be prepared.
6. The fifth option allows you to show toppings a different color if they are only on half of the pizza.
7. The next available option allows you to change whether you want to see the portions for all of the items on a pizza or just the toppings only when you press F3.
8. The last option in the general settings allows you to change how a specialty pizza appears on the make line. It can either display only toppings that were added, modified, or removed from a specialty pizza or always display all toppings on a specialty pizza or display all toppings on a specialty pizza only when there is a modification.
All of the General Display settings can only be changed with GM or above approval.
