How to Schedule a Meeting with a Resource in Outlook 365

  1. Click on New Item (1) then Meeting (2).       

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
  2. Click To.            

                    
  3. From the drop down menu (1) select Global Address Book (2).

  4. Find and highlight the Resource (Resources have a door icon instead of a silhouette) and click Resources ->.    

                                           
  5. Highlight  attendees and then click Required or Optional to add them to the meeting (1) and then select OK (2).                             

    If the contact you need to add is not in your address bar, you can click in each field and separate each address with a semicolon (;).
  6. Click Scheduling (1), then select the date and time (2) or select AutoPick Next (3) if you want to choose the earliest time that all attendees are available.

  7. Click Appointment; add the Meeting Subject, Location, and Message; and click Send.
