How to Export and Copy a Report Outside of Pulse

The following article is the only way to download an Report from the Pulse computer. This can only be done by DM or higher that can log into a store remotely. 

1. Open the RDP folder on your computer.

2. Choose the store that you want to pull the report from. (EX. Store 9270)

3.Click on Back Office --> Management

4. Log into Back Office using your DM credentials.

5. Choose Reports at the top of the screen, then Reports again.

6. Choose the report that you are looking for. (Ex: Hourly Average Sales)

7. Choose the Date that you are looking for and choose View at the bottom of the page.

8. Choose the Export option at the top of the page. 

9. When the option screen appears choose the bottom option to export to a PDF.

10. Once the format has been chosen click the Export button on bottom. 

11. The file name will appear highlighted on the save screen. Click the save button on the bottom of the screen.

12. After the file has been saved hit the Windows button on the bottom row of your keyboard and then choose the Documents option at the top of the Start Menu.

13. Highlight the report that you saved earlier. (Ex 2019015 - HourlyAverageSales.xls)

14. Right click on the highlighted file and choose Copy.

15. Once this is done click the Minimize or Restore Down button at the top of the page. DO NOT HIT THE CLOSE BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE (The X at the top of the page)

16. Right click on your desktop and choose paste on the pop up menu. Once this is done the file will download and appear as an icon on your desktop. 

17. After this operation is completed the file will still be saved on the store computer. If you do not want this you will have to open Documents in the start menu once more. Highlight the file and right click with your mouse and choose delete. Once this is done the file will be erased.
