Troubshooting Loud Beeping Noise in Office

  1.  Find the battery back up that looks like one of the pictures below.

  2. If the light on the battery back up is blinking red or a battery symbol with an X on it is showing call the HELP line. If not move on to step 3.   
  3. If the light on the battery back up is blinking green then the battery is low on power and is no longer charging. 
  4.  Turn off the battery back up by pressing the power button. 

  5. Unplug the back up from the power outlet, once this is done plug it back into the power outlet. 

  6. Turn the back up back on, it is possible that you will hear a click when the power is turned back on. If the battery is charging once again then the beeping will stop. 
  7.  If the battery keeps beeping repeat steps 4-6 with a different power outlet. 
  8. If these steps do not solve the issue then contact the HELP line immediately to help solve the issue.

****** UPS 1 is used for the main servers of the store. When this is unplugged you will lose connection to pulse until it is powered back on. Once fully loaded it will take 25 minutes before you will be able to log into pulse again. If you cannot log back into pulse after the wait period call the HELP line immediately. 

****** UPS 2 is used for the phone system. When this is unplugged you will lose phones until it is powered back on. Once fully powered up it will take 20 minutes before you will be able to receive phone calls. If phones do not function correctly call the HELP line immediately.
