This process is used when inventory items must be temporarily disabled due to SCC shortages or permanently removed when discontinued.

⚠️SCC Shortage (Temporary Disable or Re-enable)
If the local SCC reports a shortage of an inventory item, contact the Emergency HELP Line directly. This is the only situation in which a store should call the HELP line.
1. Call the Emergency HELP Line and request the item to be disabled or re-enabled.
2. If the line is busy and goes to voicemail:
- Leave a message with your Store Number, Item Name, and Request Type (disable or re-enable).
- Do not repeatedly call in.
- The request will be processed within 15 minutes.
3. Once the request has been processed, all apps in Pulse will close automatically.
- This confirms that the change has been completed.
- Wait 15 seconds before reopening the apps on each station.
⚠️Discontinued Items
If an item has been discontinued and your store has fully depleted its remaining inventory:
1. Complete the Work Wizard Form to remove the item from the store’s Pulse configuration.
- (Link will be provided here once a discontinued item remains active in at least one store.)
- Remove Bread Bowls (Pasta Boxes have run out)
2. Do not call the Emergency HELP Line for discontinued items.
- These are only removed after Work Wizard processing.
✅ Summary
- SCC Shortage: Call the Emergency HELP Line once and leave a voicemail if necessary. The change will be completed within 15 minutes.
- Discontinued Item: Submit the Work Wizard Form after all inventory is depleted.
- Pulse Confirmation: Apps closing automatically is your confirmation that the request is complete.
