ALL Phones Down

  1. Do all or some phones have the display lit up?
    1. If yes, go to step 2.
    2. If no, call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  2. Dial 2000 from any phone. Does the call catcher start playing?
    1. If no, go to step 3.
    2. If yes, call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  3. On the front of the black box labeled PHONE SYSTEM, is the blue LCD screen lit up?
    1. If yes, go to step 4.
    2. If no, call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  4. On the same LCD screen, does it show Business Central on the first line, CPU ##.#  SW ##.# on the second line, HSS ##.# Mem ##.# on the third line, and PoE/Phy ##.# on the fourth line? (##.# should be actual numbers)
    1. If yes, go to step 5.
    2. If no, call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  5. Does the box labeled MODEM have power (are any lights lit up)?
    1. If no, check to make sure the MODEM’s power cable is inserted firmly into the MODEM and into the UPS Battery Backup and then go to step 6.
    2. If yes, turn on the black box labeled CRADLEPOINT by pressing the power switch located on the side next to the power cable and then call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  6. Is the UPS Battery Backup beeping?
    1. If no, go to step 7.
    2. If yes, unplug all of the devices and plug directly into the wall outlet or a power strip and then call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  7. Is the UPS Battery Backup turned on? Some will have a green light next to the power button and some may have a red light on the power button as well as the display lighting up.
    1. If no, turn it on and go to step 8.
    2. If yes, unplug all of the devices and plug directly into the wall outlet or a power strip and then call the IT Emergency HELP line.
  8. If you’ve made it to this step, waited 2 minutes, and the phones are still not working, call the IT Emergency HELP line from a non-store phone at (210) 504-1251.
